ABOUT MYSELF

I am thirty one years old.

I have been a gardener really since the age of 3 or 4 years old. However I began earning money at the age of around 13 when I began working with my father. My father was a gardener his entire life as was his father and grandfather. My mother, her father and her mother were all keen gardeners. One could say that I have literally been imersed in "green" since I was able to walk.

I have designed, created and maintained gardens in England, France and more extensively in Italy where I have been working for the past 10 years. I have a wide range of experience ranging from tree surgery, pond and lake construction to design, construction and general maintenence.

My plant knowledge is excellent having gained a phase I city and guilds certificate in Horticulture and an N.C.H. in landscape design both obtained at the West Sussex College of Horticolture in West Sussex, England. My goal in life is simply to sell my imagination to create living paintings with living paints - the plants. I have written a book called "A Green existence" which explains my experiences as head gardener and international garden designer. If you have a green space which you love and would like to donate beauty to it then I could be a very useful tool.
